Editor on Board!

Well, I've been working with a friend for awhile on his show, and I wasn't having much success editing this short, so I asked him if he'd consider it, and he said he would!

Waiting to hear from him if/when he's ready for me to post his name & website & all that. I will say he's a very talented and accomplished editor with numerous credits for Documentary features.

My fingers are crossed! I'm so excited about this now! :)

PS: I know people haven't seen the footage yet. After this gets pulled together, I'm hoping we can have a screening party somewhere. Anyone have a big TV? :)

Small edit for demo reel is completed.

So I did complete an ultra small edit for my Demo Reel.

Deadline is Feb 1st!!!

I have not done a longer edit as a short film. I'm overwhelmed!!!
I need to recruit an editor to knock this baby together.
Anyone know anyone?

I did get a couple CD's from The Mayfire, a local band that's getting some exposure lately.

Fighting slowness, got a workable 5 min edit

So there has been slowness in editing, and some setbacks, and a few extra shots gathered, and now working on getting a demo reel together... OY!

I did get a workable 5 minute edit going. The film really needs 15-20 min's to do it the justice it deserves. Hard for me to stay 'in one style' for all that time, considering doing it in a range of ways: da da, dramatic, and comedic.

Haven't committed it to media yet. Don't know if anyone's watching this blog anymore... Hello? :) But that's OK. I am not giving up hope.

I'll probably have to hire someone to help me...
